POSITION DESCRIPTION An Industrial Hygiene Project Manager at SET Environmental is responsible to:
Independently plan, direct, and manage industrial hygiene, hazardous materials, and regulatory compliance projects within the Industrial Hygiene service line
Manage project risks and contract changes, develop and review deliverables for quality and contractual compliance and serve as the primary point of contact for clients Coordinate with senior technical professionals to ensure appropriate technical direction while maintaining responsibility for industrial hygiene project execution, profitability, and schedule adherence, quality, safety, and client satisfaction Provide successful execution of projects from proposal development through closeout and demonstrate sound business judgment, leadership, and communication skills while fostering productive relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal staff Promote all company policies and safety standards
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience performing industrial hygiene (IH) surveys & audits; indoor air quality (IAQ) and noise assessments; asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM), lead-based paint (LBP) and mold surveys and investigations; asbestos abatement and fiber release assessments; environmental investigations, conducting environmental sampling of soil and groundwater, EH&S/occupational safety training; and/or medical monitoring program oversight
Knowledge of relevant environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
Proficiency with business writing, office automation and communication software, technology, and tools. Specific programs include Microsoft Office 365 software suite
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policies
Professional registrations or certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or the ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire, preferred
