Responsibilities The Clinical Manager of the Oncology Infusion Center has the responsibility, authority and accountability for patient care, administration and practice within the Infusion Center and for the development of the work force who consistently demonstrates competent, efficient clinical practice. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Selects, schedules, assigns, and evaluates staff, adjusting hours and shifts as necessary to meet the needs of the unit and the patients.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages employees in the Oncology Infusion Center and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
