Overview

JOB TITLE: Commissioning Engineer II

WORKSITE LOCATION: Tysons, VA


Responsibilities

Perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, including breakers, transformers, switchgear, relays, and motor control centers, as well as other electrical apparatus both in the field and in a manufacturing environment. Understand sophisticated electrical distribution systems of complex electrical test equipment. Contribute to a safe working environment for coworkers and customers, ensuring the overall success of projects. Assist Commissioning Specialist with coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables. Prepare and review electrical sketches, CX plans, load bank plans, and LOTO procedures. Perform routine electrical calculations. Assist in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications. Use the electrical engineering website to access department guides and standards. Job located in Tysons, VA and other sites unknown in the state of Virginia.


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation testing electrical power systems.

USD $128,750.00 - USD $128,750.00 /Yr.
