Auria is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to support HADES.
This opening requires full-time presence in Kirtland AFB, NM. This role is currently contingent, based on contract award
The Hybrid Architecture and Development for Experimental Systems (HADES) Program provides maintenance, sustainment, development, integration, and test support for ground systems supporting experimental mission capabilities at the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Support Complex at Kirtland AFB, NM. The program supports existing capabilities and the development, integration, testing, and deployment of capabilities supporting new mission partners and emerging mission requirements within TS/SCI and Special Access Program (SAP) environments. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
* Provide systems engineering, development, integration, and sustainment of hardware and antenna service integration systems within the architecture.
* Deliver systems engineering, development, integration, and sustainment of test support infrastructure for space vehicle factory and launch-based testing activities.
* Support ongoing mission integration and technical activities across all Ground Control systems, ensuring seamless functionality, interoperability, and interface compliance.
* Maintain lifecycle sustainment support for current missions through end-of-life and for new missions as established.
* Conduct planning, requirements analysis, procurement, development, installation, integration, testing, and operational readiness activities.
* Lead/participate in Tech & Ops Review, discussing performance metrics, incidents and resolution, maintenance coordination, sustainment activities, development and integration, configuration management, cybersecurity status, risks and mitigation, and continuous improvement
* Coordinate with external organizations, solicit requirements, and assist with technical interface definitions and requirements
* Coordinate comprehensive IT and operational support (hw, sw, cloud, integration/orchestration of all components)
* Use a disciplined Systems Engineering (SE) approach to all work conducted under contract to ensure changes do not adversely impact systems/capabilities.
* Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations.
* Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately.
* Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.
* Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
* May have sole responsibility for projects and participate in disaster recovery exercises.
* Performs work under minimal supervision.
* Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
* Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
* Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
* May act as a lead or first-level supervisor and must demonstrate leadership skills.
* Must have strong technical expertise and demonstrate analytical thinking skills.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

* Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Science, Information Systems, or related STEM discipline.
* 4+ years of experience on a project of similar scope or complexity (2+ years of experience required with a Master's degree).
* Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Top Secret clearance, with an investigation date within scope (6 years).

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
* Experience supporting space system requirements.
* Experience with MBSE, DOORS, and Cameo.
* Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a structured process driven software development environment.
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and processes, such as GitLab, GitHub, Azure, Jenkins, or Nexus.
* Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence).
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $115,000 - $130,000
