As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations; prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and traffic or parking-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence in a customer-focused retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
