Material Handler - 1st Shift Madison, WI \| $20/hour \| Full-time Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM-3:00 PM; Friday, 5:30 AM-9:30 AM. Enjoy Friday afternoon and weekends off. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support production operations in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. You'll help keep production running smoothly by picking and replenishing materials, receiving shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting stockroom operations. Key Responsibilities Pick and replenish materials for production departments Receive shipments, verify quantities and quality, and document discrepancies Perform inventory transactions using ERP systems Maintain accurate inventory records and material organization Follow FIFO practices and perform cycle counts Safely operate material handling equipment Support receiving and stockroom activities Follow 5S, safety, and ESD procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous warehouse, material handling, inventory, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or production experience preferred Basic computer, math, English, and data entry skills ERP experience preferred; QAD experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to safely perform physical work, including standing, bending, reaching, climbing steps, and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally Why Join Us? $20/hour First-shift schedule Four full days plus a short Friday morning Friday afternoon and weekends off Clean manufacturing environment Stable full-time work Opportunities to learn and grow Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
