Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment.

Day Shift

Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer I performs basic echocardiograms under supervision. Assists with patient preparation, maintains equipment and records patient data.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
2. License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification required within one year of start date. BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.New Hampshire Based Positions: Must possess a valid temporary or permanent New Hampshire state license at the time of hire. Candidates hired under a temporary license are required to obtain permanent New Hampshire state licensure within one (1) year of hire.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
