Process Tech I-2nd Shift

An Injection Molding Process Technician is a skilled professional who sets up, operates, monitors, and troubleshoots plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. They possess a strong understanding of materials, tooling, and equipment specific to the injection molding process.

* Machine Setup: Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and ensure proper functioning of auxiliary equipment.
* Process Monitoring: Continuously observe machine operation, monitor part quality, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent production.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve processing issues such as defects, inconsistencies, and machine malfunctions.
* Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects, measure dimensions, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment, and report any major repairs needed.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of process parameters, production data, and maintenance activities.
* Safety: Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a related field are a plus.
* 1-2 years' of proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.
* Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials (thermoplastics), and tooling.
* Proficiency in setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
* Ability to troubleshoot processing issues and make necessary adjustments.
* Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of Scientific molding principles and techniques is preferred.
* Experience with automation and robotics in Injection mold is a Plus.
* Knowledge of Single stage and Two stage blow molding is an added advantage.
