Truck Driver - Equipment

Cianbro Equipment is a leader in the construction equipment industry, providing exceptional service and support across multiple sectors. Committed to safety, quality, and innovation, we specialize in the rental, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of heavy machinery for construction projects throughout the U.S. The wage range for this position is $19 to $29 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction materials and heavy equipment in compliance with company policies and all DOT regulations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload construction materials and equipment.
• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, hours-of-service records, and equipment inspection reports.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and company personnel.
• Travel as required, including up to 3 to 4 nights per week away from home. Weekends are not typically required.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience hauling flatbeds, construction materials, and mixed freight.
• Experience transporting overweight and oversized loads required.
• Experience hauling equipment on lowboy/low-bed trailers preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Ability to safely operate a front-end loader and familiarity with aerial lifts, excavators, dozers, rollers, and forklifts.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical duties associated with loading, securing, and inspecting equipment.
