The Role

UST is searching for an Application Support who will work analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.

What You'll Do

* Involve in critical production issue troubleshooting and responsible for triaging and engaging other technical teams in recovering the application to steady state within SLA

* Coordinating emergency releases, resolving issues in SWAT calls, Root Cause Analysis, tracking production issue tickets in SNOW.

* Responsible for weekend validations, server patching, server migration coordination, presentation of weekly reports & Monthly status to Management, Asset tool development/maintenance

* Awareness of GBD, privacy and compliance issues.

* Regular interactions with the Anthem SME (subject matter experts), Database administrators, Network Administrators, Firewall administrators, IBM administrators, Application Users to ensure smooth running of the applications.

* Preparing instructions and validation documents for Maintenance activities to make sure all the systems are brought up properly after the maintenance

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Hybrid- Richmond, Virginia

Compensation Range: $63,000-$95,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
