Lead Child Care Teacher

Shift: Shift 1/9:00:00AM to 5:30:00PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$21.54 - $25.31 / hour

Assists Manager as necessary to oversee childcare operations, including childcare ratios. Is knowledgeable of licensing codes and assures they are being upheld, assumes responsibility of the Director during his/her absence. Functions as a Child Care Assistant as needed and assists employees with their daily activities. May assist in clerical and financial job duties within the department. In addition, the Lead Child Care Teacher assists the Director with the scheduling, timekeeping, quality assurance and workflow monitoring of the department. Functions as a resource person to both staff and families. Provides input to Director on job performance of employees.

Education:Associate degree in Early Childhood or CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required.

Experience:Minimum of 1 years experience in a childcare setting and previous clerical or secretarial experience required.

Certification:American Heart Association Heartsaver (HRTSVR) First Aid CPR AED required.

License:N/A

Other:Excellent intrapersonal and communication skills. Ability to work and plan with caregivers in a team setting. Must be 21 years of age (per licensing).
