Electrical Technician - Direct Hire Sturbridge, MA $43.00/Hour Are you an experienced Electrical Technician who thrives on troubleshooting complex automation systems and keeping production running at peak performance? Join a growing manufacturing team where your expertise in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and preventative maintenance will directly impact operational success. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives, sensors, HMIs, and electrical control systems Perform preventative maintenance and document completed work Support equipment installations, startups, upgrades, and commissioning projects Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve equipment issues Maintain electrical parts inventory and spare components Ensure compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and electrical safety standards Assist with continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment performance and reduce downtime Qualifications 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Experience troubleshooting PLC-based automation systems Strong understanding of industrial electrical components, controls, motors, and drives Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Knowledge of LOTO, Arc Flash, and electrical safety procedures Preferred Experience Cleanroom manufacturing environments Automated manufacturing equipment or robotics Equipment installation and commissioning Opto 22 or similar industrial control platforms Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
