Warehouse Forklift Operator

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete work orders, inventory documents, receiving paperwork, and shipping records in English.
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of experience.
• Able to operate manual/electric pallet jacks and stand-up reach forklifts.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Experience unloading trucks, stocking inventory, palletizing products, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail when inspecting, sorting, and verifying products.
• Ability to identify discrepancies in inventory, receiving documentation, and product labeling.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Must wear steel-toe boots and follow all safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.

Job Duties

• Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Fill orders, pull products, stock inventory, rotate stock, and maintain organized storage areas.
• Verify product labels, tags, bills of lading, and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Sort, inspect, and palletize products according to company quality and safety standards.
• Complete equipment safety inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Monitor products for quality, food safety, and chemical safety issues and notify supervisors of any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Support inventory accuracy and help ensure timely order fulfillment and material flow.
