Logistics Manager Senior

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Logistics Manager Senior to provide comprehensive logistics management support for designated missions, weapons systems, and programs throughout the acquisition lifecycle. The successful candidate will support logistics planning, coordination, requirements analysis, Life Cycle Management (LCM), product support planning, logistics metrics, and program execution. This position requires extensive experience with Defense Acquisition System processes, DoD logistics applications, product support planning, and the ability to integrate multiple logistics functions in support of complex DoD programs. The Logistics Manager Senior will also provide expert logistics input to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and key logistics reviews.

Note: This position is onsite at Warner Robins AFB, GA

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate logistics management operations required to support specified missions, weapons systems, and designated programs.
• Identify requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support program objectives.
• Analyze logistics requirements to ensure alignment with program plans and schedules.
• Create and maintain program and Life Cycle Management (LCM) plans to ensure logistics requirements are adequately defined and executed.
• Review contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and contract requirements.
• Provide expert logistics input on RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, and CDRLs.
• Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics, including supply, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support key logistics reviews and assessments.
• Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and develop or adjust plans and schedules needed to meet requirements on time.
• Lead project teams in completing complex logistics projects.
• Integrate separate logistics functions in the planning and implementation of logistics management programs.
• Support Defense Acquisition System processes, including UCA, MTA, MCA, Software Acquisition, and Acquisition of Services.
• Support product support planning throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including the disposal phase.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions.
• Experience with Defense Acquisition System processes as a Logistics Manager, including UCA, MTA, MCA, Software Acquisition, and Acquisition of Services.
• Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase, including the disposal phase.
• Extensive experience with DoD logistics applications such as Reliability & Maintainability Information System (REMIS), BLADE, PIEE, DPAS, and other supply chain and logistics online management systems.
• Knowledge of the DoD Integrated Product Support element structure.
• Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems.
• Broad knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support.
• Ability to coordinate and evaluate functional specialists to identify requirements and develop and adjust plans and schedules.
• Ability to integrate separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
• Ability to lead a project team in completing complex projects.
• Ability to provide expert logistics input for RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, and CDRLs.
• Ability to provide logistics analysis and support for key logistics metrics and reviews.
• U.S. citizenship required

Nice to Have Skills

• Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis process.
• Familiarity with Life Cycle Sustainment Plan processes.
• Familiarity with accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment.
• Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook.
• Experience supporting complex logistics programs within a DoD acquisition environment.

Education and Experience:

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in DoD acquisition.
• Or bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in DoD acquisition.
• Or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in DoD acquisition.
