| Summary of Position: |
Assist in planning and organizing all phases of a top Division II volleyball program, including developing student-athletes on and off the court, match preparation, coordinating team travel, fundraising, and community involvement. Assist the head coach in all aspects of the program. Must be able to travel with the team and for recruiting. Be an integral part of an exciting, passionate volleyball program.
This is a part-time position, and the work hours are limited to no more than 28 hours per week. |

| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
Represent and promote the Volleyball program on the campus, in the conference, and throughout the state under the direction of the Head Volleyball Coach.
Reports to the Head Volleyball Coach.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Organize work responsibilities.
Maintain an effective liaison with staff and units on campus and in the athletic department, as appropriate.
Assist with the planning, implementation, and analysis of all practice sessions.
Assist with the video and statistical analysis of opponents and the team.
Assist with other coaching-related responsibilities deemed necessary by the head coach.
Coordinate home game management, team travel, and travel with the team.
Assist with recruiting student-athletes, including but not limited to evaluation, visits, contacts, and completing all administrative reports and information required by the NCAA and Ferris Compliance Office.
Supervise student managers, work-study students, and interns in accordance with University policies and applicable laws.
Play Volleyball
Work independently.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with university policies and applicable laws.

Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of information pursuant to university policies and/or state or federal laws.
