Senior Analyst, Provider Compensation

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducts benchmarking and data analysis to formulate recommendations that support competitive, cost-effective, and legally compliant provider compensation programs and practices.
• Creates compensation models through collaboration with operational leaders and Legal, leveraging an understanding of practice operations to support compensation model design.
• Completes quality assurance reviews of provider compensation data and reporting to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Partners with operational leaders to assess Commercial Reasonableness of provider compensation practices.
• Completes reconciliation processes for assigned specialties, including tracking productivity and performance incentive amounts, calculating incentive achievement, preparing and distributing quarterly provider compensation summaries. Calculates and finalizes annual incentive payment or repayment amounts based on reconciled performance results.
• Partners with contracted appraisers/consultants to provide requested data and supporting documentation for FMV assessments.
• Provide updates on provider compensation action items in recurring Service Line and Department meetings.

• Maintains and audits various databases and payroll systems for provider compensation, FTE allocations, productivity and other relevant information to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Serves as an administrator for physician compensation & productivity surveys.
• Serves as a subject matter expert and resource to operational leaders on provider compensation practices, models, productivity metrics, and incentive programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• A minimum of five years of compensation or finance, or related experience required.
• A minimum of three years of provider compensation experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data modeling, forecasting, and data analysis techniques as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret provider compensation, productivity, and benchmark data to support compensation-related decision-making.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration, or a-related, field preferred.
• AAPCP Credential
• Microsoft Excel Expert Certification
