Position Title: Fabricator
Wage: $20.00-$30.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday Are you an experienced fabricator looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing company? We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join a team in Janesville, WI that manufactures custom aluminum and steel structures used in commercial signage. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy welding, fabrication, and working with a variety of shop tools and machinery. This is a potential-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term career growth. Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Manufacture aluminum and steel structures used in commercial signs - Perform steel and aluminum welding - Operate torch cutting equipment - Complete layout, fitting, and fabrication work - Perform basic electrical wiring as needed - Safely operate shop machinery and power tools - Read and follow work instructions and fabrication specifications - Maintain a clean and safe work environment - Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards Fabricator Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred - Valid driver's license required - Must provide your own hand tools - Previous fabrication experience required - Steel and aluminum welding experience - Torch cutting experience - Basic electrical wiring knowledge - Ability to operate shop machinery and power tools - Basic math skills - Experience with sheet metal work is a plus - Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail - Reliable attendance and solid work history - Willingness to learn and develop new skills Benefits: - Health Insurance - Dental Insurance - Disability Insurance - 401(k) - Vacation Pay - Paid Uniforms QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
