Data Center Critical Operations Engineer II Location: Secaucus, NJ Schedule/Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay: $43.00 to $47.00 per hour Job Summary The Data Center Critical Operations Engineer II operates, maintains, and troubleshoots critical facility systems to support reliable data center operations. This role requires an understanding of how electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire and life safety systems interact. The engineer also supports customer infrastructure projects, responds to operational issues, and provides technical guidance to team members. Job Responsibilities Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot critical data center systems. Assess how changes to one facility system may affect other systems and data center uptime. Respond to equipment issues and coordinate resolution with technicians, vendors, and customers. Support customer infrastructure projects while following established operating and safety procedures. Document operational activities and identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance. Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to team members. Job Requirements Experience operating or maintaining critical electrical and mechanical systems in a data center or similar critical facility. Ability to troubleshoot cooling and fire and life safety systems. Understanding of system interdependencies and the operational risks of facility changes. Ability to communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and technical teams. Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Additional Job Details Direct hire position. Eligible for an annual bonus and equity based on individual and company performance. Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus may be available for qualifying candidates.
