Data Center Critical Operations Engineer II, Night Shift

Location: Denver, CO
Schedule/Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Pay: $38.00 to $43.00 per hour. Eligible for an annual bonus and equity based on individual and company performance.

Job Summary

The Data Center Critical Operations Engineer II operates, maintains, and troubleshoots critical facility systems to support reliable data center operations. This role requires an understanding of how electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire and life safety systems work together. The engineer also supports customer infrastructure projects, resolves operational issues, and provides technical guidance to other team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical data center systems.
• Assess how changes or issues in one system may affect other facility systems and uptime.
• Support customer infrastructure projects and coordinate with technicians, vendors, and customers.
• Respond to equipment issues and help identify improvements to reliability and performance.
• Follow established operating procedures and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on the job training to team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Experience operating or maintaining critical facility electrical, mechanical, or cooling systems. Confirm the minimum years of experience required before posting.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and understand dependencies between facility systems.
• Familiarity with fire and life safety systems and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with technicians, vendors, and customers.
• Availability to work the stated overnight schedule.
