Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am First day: 2:30pm

Looking for Machine Operator jobs in Carmel where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.

Safely and efficiently operates a variety of production equipment including power presses, insertion machines, molding equipment, sewing machines and glue coating equipment. Assembles and packages parts per written work instructions or supervisor direction.

• Manufactures and assembles products as instructed. * Completes productivity and quality records as required. * Provides a great level of attention to detail and focus on manufacturing high quality product safely and efficiently. * Follows all company rules and policies, all safety rules and quality standards.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized. * Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
• Safety shoes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.
• Strict attention to quality and detailed oriented.
• Team oriented.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to pounds, bend, twist, and reach frequently and stand or sit for long periods of time. (A break every two hours.)
