Buyer

• Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Materials Management, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CSCP, CPSM, or other supply chain certifications are a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, inventory control, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting production operations through purchasing and material planning.
• Hands-on ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of supplier management, forecasting, inventory control, and procurement best practices.
• Experience in electrical, electronics, transformer, industrial equipment, or engineered manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the facility as needed.
• Ability to review reports, analyze data, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, production, engineering, quality, and operations teams.

• Plan, purchase, and manage materials, components, and supplies to support manufacturing operations.
• Analyze production schedules, forecasts, inventory levels, and customer demand to ensure material availability.
• Create and manage purchase orders while monitoring supplier performance, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Proactively resolve material shortages, supplier issues, and delivery delays to prevent production disruptions.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier quotes, and support vendor negotiations.
• Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, and supplier records within ERP systems.
• Monitor inventory levels, replenishment schedules, stock accuracy, and obsolete material disposition.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Operations teams on sourcing, supplier development, and new product initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, supplier performance, procurement processes, and supply chain efficiency.
• Generate reports and provide recommendations to support business and production goals.
