Senior Provider Compensation Analyst

ChristianaCare is seeking a Senior Provider Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation team. This position plays a key role in the design, analysis, administration, and ongoing management of physician and advanced practice clinician (APC) compensation programs. Reporting to the Compensation Manager, this individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic compensation analysis, market insights, and compensation program recommendations that support organizational goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain physician and APC compensation plans, incentive programs, and financial models.
• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analyses to support competitive and sustainable compensation practices.
• Create and maintain compensation reports, dashboards, audits, and reconciliations while ensuring data integrity.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Payroll, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, and physician leaders to provide compensation consultation and support business decisions.
• Support compliance with Fair Market Value (FMV), Commercial Reasonableness, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and best practices within the provider compensation function.
• Provide guidance and analytical support on complex compensation initiatives and special projects.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in physician and provider compensation required.
• Expertise in physician compensation plan design, administration, and redesign.
• Advanced healthcare financial and analytical acumen.
• Experience supporting FMV reviews and compensation governance processes.
• Ability to develop compensation strategy recommendations for executive leadership.
• Experience leading compensation system enhancements, technology implementations, and process improvements.
• Ability to establish analytical methodologies, controls, and best practices.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
• Capability to lead complex, highly visible, enterprise-wide compensation initiatives.
