Lead Pharmacy Technician-Prepacking

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Lead Pharmacy Technician- Prepacking to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, Al.

The Lead Pharmacy Technician-Prepacking shall be responsible for the following in addition to normal Prepack Technician Duties:

* Being the primary point of contact/liaison for pre-pack questions or concerns from other areas

* Preparing the daily duty schedule for other pre-pack technicians

* Managing the repacking process

* Training of other technicians on equipment and processes

* Keeping the shelves stocked

* Moving bulk product from the warehouse to the pre-pack staging area for pre-packing

* Helping to track production for the repacking process

* Managing technicians to stay focused between job assignments

* Keeping the packing area clean and orderly

* Making sure pre-pack areas are scanned monthly for date product/cards

Position Requirements:

* Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.

* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or related field such as wholesale, drug, or medical supply distribution.

* Active registration as a technician with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.

* PTCB certification is a plus.
