innovations Academy is looking for a dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team! This position provides specialized instruction and behavioral support to K-2 students with diverse learning and emotional needs in a therapeutic day school setting. This position develops and implements IEPs, modifies curriculum, fosters a structered and supportive classroom enviornment and collaborates with therapists, staff and families to promote academic and functional growth.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED. Bachelor's or Master's preferred. LBS1 Endorsement REQUIRED. 1-3 years experience in a therapeutic day school preferred.

Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
