Unit: Endoscopy Suite

Working Hours: Full Time; 40 hours/week

Shift: Mon- Fri + call; shifts vary; 6am-6pm

Job Details & Qualifications:

The Endoscopy Technician, under the direction of a registered nurse, prepares the procedure room, selects and organizes the equipment, assists the physician, participates in an orderly and efficient room turnover based on a knowledge of endoscopic procedure, physician preference and patient care principles. Prepares and maintains all endoscopic equipment. This includes the cleaning and disinfection of endoscopic equipment, the cleaning and sterilization of accessory equipment, and the maintenance of a clean, orderly environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• One year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician with completion of Endoscopy Technician Core Curriculum training to include Steris Operator Training Course, Care and Handling of Flexible Endoscopes and Equipment, Electrosurgical Safety, and ERCP From Start to Finish
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR required

Salary Range: Minimum $18.40/hour - Maximum $28.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
