Position Title: Wet Painter
Wage: $43,680-$56,160/year Shift: 2nd Hours: 4:30pm-3:00am Monday-Thursday QPS Employment Group is hiring a Wet Painter for a company in Liberty, MO. The role will perform required maintenance on paint equipment as needed. A successful candidate is a self-motivated, team player and ability to work in a non- temperature controlled environment. Wet Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform advanced wet painting - Prepare product prior to paint application - Prepare paint equipment as required - Paint product per job instructions - Make adjustments to paint machine as needed to maintain good quality and production - Perform cross hatch paint adhesion test - Check all parts of paint booth for wear, malfunction, and replace as needed - Set up paint, set up, and adjust paint guns and paint samples - Troubleshoot most common recurring problems without assistance - Perform required maintenance on paint equipment - Assist in cleaning of paint booths - Handle paint, paint related materials, and hazardous wastes properly - Other duties as assigned Wet Painter Requirements: - 1-2 years of prior painting experience - Previous automotive experience is a plus - Working knowledge of wet paint booth and knowledge of processes - Ability to change over color modules for paint booths - Troubleshooting skills QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
