Position Overview
The Institute for Policy & Social Research (IPSR) is a designated research center for the social sciences, supporting social science researchers at the University of Kansas. IPSR supports faculty-led research centers, their directors, and a network of more than 100 affiliates, and staff.
The individual hired for this position is expected to support underserved communities' digital access and skills. Specifically, the Digital Navigator will work with PI Seo in curriculum development and creating educational content on digital skills for women recently released from jail or prison in Kansas. The Digital Navigator will also hold in-person education sessions (4 hours every week) to answer questions from program participants and provide technical assistance to them as needed. The Digital Navigator is expected to attend the project team's weekly project meeting and contribute to planning and implementation of digital skills training for women in reentry. Finally, the Digital Navigator will support the project team's engagements with women in reentry in Kansas. The position is grant-funded.
