Emerson Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team, with a focus on vestibular rehabilitation, balance disorders, and concussion management. In this role, you'll work with patients experiencing dizziness, vertigo, balance difficulties, neurological conditions, and post-concussion symptoms. You'll have the opportunity to provide individualized, evidence-based treatment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team committed to helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. What You'll Do Evaluate and treat patients with vestibular disorders, dizziness, vertigo, balance impairments, and post-concussion symptoms. Develop personalized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical findings and individual patient goals. Provide evidence-based vestibular rehabilitation, balance training, and neurological rehabilitation interventions. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, fall prevention, and strategies to support recovery. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve the best possible functional outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress. Participate in professional development, specialized training, and mentorship opportunities. What We're Looking For We welcome Physical Therapists who are passionate about outpatient rehabilitation and interested in expanding their knowledge of vestibular therapy and concussion recovery. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program required. Experience: Previous outpatient physical therapy experience strongly preferred. Experience in vestibular rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, balance disorders, or concussion management is a plus, but not required. A strong interest in learning vestibular and concussion rehabilitation techniques is encouraged. Licensure and Certification: Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within four months of hire. Skills and Qualifications: Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to provide patient-centered care across appropriate age groups and clinical conditions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond to changing patient needs. Professional, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Proficiency with computers and clinical documentation systems.
