Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data collection, research, and analysis for engineering, surveying, planning, and construction projects.
  • Support field crews with surveying, construction observation, inspections, and site documentation.
  • Assist in preparing plans, reports, maps, exhibits, and technical documents.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, MicroStation, or other industry tools to support project development.
  • Help collect and manage field measurements, GPS data, and survey information.
  • Participate in site visits to observe project progress and construction activities.
  • Assist with quality control reviews of plans, calculations, and project documentation.
  • Support planning studies, feasibility analyses, traffic evaluations, and land development projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, planners, technicians, and project managers on project tasks.
  • Follow company safety procedures and project-specific requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, or Master's degree in:

    • Civil Engineering
    • Construction Management
    • Surveying Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Urban or Regional Planning
    • Transportation Planning
    • Related field


  • Strong interest in infrastructure, transportation, utilities, or construction.
  • Basic understanding of engineering, surveying, or planning principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, MicroStation, or related software is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
