What you'll do

The Director, Enterprise Performance & Reporting is responsible for Viasat's consolidated enterprise performance management and reporting system, serving as the business owner for enterprise KPIs, business and market insights, executive dashboards, Strategy Deployment Process (SDP) visualization, and OKR performance visibility. This role provides executive leadership with a single, trusted view of enterprise health by integrating strategic, operational, portfolio, and financial performance into a standardized management framework used for monthly operating reviews, quarterly business reviews, and executive decision-making.

The Director supports the definition, governance, analysis, and communication of enterprise performance metrics, ensuring that strategy, execution, and financial outcomes are connected through measurable results. By helping establish enterprise reporting standards, performance review processes, and executive dashboards, this role enables leaders to identify risks, monitor progress against strategic priorities, and make data-driven decisions that improve business performance.

Working closely with business leaders, Finance, Enterprise Strategy, and Engineering, the role ensures enterprise objectives, Strategy Deployment Process (SDP) priorities, and OKRs are translated into measurable outcomes with clear accountability and visibility. The role is responsible for helping define business insight requirements, metric frameworks, reporting standards, dashboard design, and analytical methodologies that transform data into actionable intelligence.

The role partners closely with Engineering, which owns the underlying enterprise data architecture, data pipelines, platforms, and automated reporting tools. Together, they deliver scalable, trusted, and highly automated reporting capabilities that reduce manual effort while improving the quality, accessibility, and timeliness of enterprise insights.

This role also collaborates closely with FP&A to incorporate consolidated financial performance and value realization metrics into enterprise reporting, and with the Director of Enterprise Strategic Initiatives to integrate portfolio health, strategic initiative outcomes, and benefit realization into a unified enterprise performance view. The result is a comprehensive performance management system that aligns strategic objectives, operational execution, portfolio delivery, and financial performance into a single enterprise source of truth.
