The Role:
Our site in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

The Supply Chain Planning Co-op will support key operational excellence, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain Planning organization. This role provides hands on experience working with Supply Network Planners and Planning Leadership to document processes, improve reporting, establish planning metrics, assess data quality, and identify automation opportunities. The co-op will gain exposure to cross-functional and global supply chain operations while contributing to projects that improve planning efficiency, strengthen process governance, and support future business growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in supply chain planning, analytics, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration while delivering meaningful impact to the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Supply Network Planners and Planning Leadership to document, review, and improve supply chain planning processes across multiple business units.

  • Analyze existing planning workflows and identify opportunities to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual work.

  • Update and maintain Supply Chain Planning playbooks, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.

  • Develop and standardize reporting templates, KPI definitions, and planning metrics to improve consistency and decision making.

  • Assess planning data quality and support initiatives to improve data accuracy, governance, and usability.

  • Create process maps, workflow documentation, and knowledge management resources to support onboarding and organizational learning.

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend automation and continuous improvement opportunities that enhance planner productivity.

  • Support the development of a centralized planning knowledge repository to improve information accessibility and reduce reliance on tribal knowledge.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and implement process improvement initiatives

What We Seek:

  • Pursuing or completing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of supply chain, operations, planning, manufacturing, logistics, analytics, or related experience through internships, co-ops, part time roles, or full time employment

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret data

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast paced environment

  • Experience documenting processes, creating standard work, or supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

  • Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, MBA

  • Fall 2027 or Spring 2028

Eligibility:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student

  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June

  • Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program

Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
