The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, North America FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key finance partner to the Sales and Marketing organizations. This role owns critical sales compensation, agency, incentive, and performance-reporting processes while delivering financial analysis and actionable insights that support profitable growth and informed decision-making. The position can be based in Hunt Valley, MD, Huntersville, NC or Apex, NC.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Own the financial management and reporting lifecycle for North America Sales Agents, including onboarding, financial modeling, monthly performance analysis, commission payments, and internal/external reporting.
  • Lead end-to-end financial administration of North America Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) programs, including performance tracking, model governance, SAP sales-territory master data maintenance, quarterly accruals, achievement calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and manage financial models supporting SPIFF incentive programs, including ROI tracking, accrual analysis, and payout calculations.
  • Deliver timely and accurate global eCommerce reporting, analysis, and actionable insights to ATG leadership.
  • Provide financial support throughout the monthly close, quarterly forecast, annual budget, and reporting cycles.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring reporting, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and simplify incentive and commission processes.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and special projects that inform strategic and operational decision-making.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or related finance roles; experience in consumer goods or manufacturing a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial results and recommendations clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
