Join our team as a Lease-Up Property Manager at Sugar Hill on Stone! Be part of the exciting launch of Sugar Hill on Stone, a new 66-unit LIHTC community in Tucson, AZ! We're looking for an experienced Property Manager who is excited to lead a community through pre-leasing, initial move-ins beginning in November, and ongoing stabilization. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build strong resident relationships, drive leasing and occupancy, oversee day-to-day operations, and help establish a thriving community from the ground up. Lead day-to-day community operations while building and supporting a high-performing property team. Drive the lease-up process through lead generation, tours, applications, leasing, renewals, resident communication, and achievement of occupancy goals. Oversee LIHTC compliance processes, resident certifications, documentation, and coordination with the Compliance Department. Manage property finances, including rent collection, accounts receivable, budgeting, expense management, financial reporting, and vendor invoices. Build strong relationships with residents and support resident retention, engagement, and community-building initiatives. Oversee property maintenance, unit readiness, move-ins and move-outs, inspections, vendors, and the overall appearance and condition of the community. Ensure the property operates in compliance with Fair Housing requirements, applicable regulations, company policies, and established operational standards.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of property management experience, with affordable housing and LIHTC experience strongly preferred. Experience successfully managing leasing, occupancy, resident relations, and property operations; lease-up experience is a plus. Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance requirements and the ability to manage detailed resident documentation. Previous leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to coach, motivate, and support a property team. Strong financial and organizational skills, including experience working with budgets, expenses, rent collection, and financial reporting. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, team members, vendors, and partners.
