In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting a comprehensive chemical inventory across the R&D labs, documenting everything in the designated tracking systems, and applying barcode labels to chemicals and equipment. You'll work closely with lab staff and the EHS&S team to ensure inventory practices align with safety and operational protocols. This assignment is expected to run 2+ months, with the potential to extend as you'll also help provide backup coverage for reception while the current receptionist is out on leave.

What You'll Do

• Complete a full chemical inventory of all R&D labs, ensuring every chemical is accounted for and documented
• Document chemical inventory information accurately in designated systems
• Apply inventory barcode labels to chemicals and equipment for tracking and identification
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and the EHS&S team to ensure inventory processes align with safety and operational protocols
• Provide potential backup reception coverage, including answering phones and assisting with visitor management

What You'll Need

• High school diploma required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn specific database and web applications
• Ability to work onsite at the Northfield office
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
