Grapple / Boom Truck Driver - Waste Pro - Pembroke Pines Put Your CDL and Heavy Equipment Skills to Work Waste Pro is hiring CDL Grapple Truck Drivers in Pembroke Pines! If you have experience operatinggrapple trucks, boom trucks, heavy equipment, waste collection equipment, debris trucks, or similar commercial vehicles, we want to talk with you. This is a hands-on CDL driving position for someone who is comfortable operating heavy equipment, working outdoors, and safely collecting and transporting bulky waste, vegetation, debris, and other materials. Waste Pro provides anessential, stable, year-round serviceand offers professional drivers the opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing waste and recycling company. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Safely drives truck on pre-established route in accordance with Decision Driving principles within prescribed time. Collects and dumps garbage and refuse into refuse trucks while covering a designated route in a residential zone. Unloads refuse trucks at the landfill, transfer station, or similar facility. OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Physically able to push, or pull independently (unassisted) 50 pounds between 25 and 50 times a day
2. Physically able to lift independently (unassisted) 50 pounds from the ground to waist height between 25 and 50 times a day 3. Physically able to get up and down from the cab of a commercial motor vehicle between 30 and 50 times a day 4. Physically able to lift with assistance (helper) 100 pounds between 20 and 30 times a day 5. Physically able to bend at the waist and knees between 120-150 times in a day 6. Physically able to reach overhead with a reaching pole and pull down using 20 pounds of force and secure a tarp 7. Physically able to climb up to 8 feet in height to deploy a 25 pound tarp 8. Physically able to work 8 to 12 hours in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain and snow) WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Works in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations including heat, cold, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors and dust.
