Merakey is launching a pioneering Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in the Kensington area of Philadelphia -one of the city's most impacted neighborhoods by addiction and homelessness. This initiative embeds urgent, compassionate care directly into the community, offering services like substance use treatment (including Methadone), primary care, crisis response, and court support.

Join a mission-driven team working to connect individuals to recovery and stability through evidence-based care and street-level engagement. Be part of lasting change in one of Philadelphia's most vulnerable communities.

Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Earn $24.35/hr.!

Position Details

The Mobile Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) will provide recovery support services for clients receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT), and non-MAT services. This role involves working within theKensington, Philadelphiacommunity and between the Parkside brick and mortar programs which include client engagement and transportation to treatment services.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:



  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Certified as a Recovery Specialist (CRS) in Pennsylvania.
  • Active and unrestricted driver's license required.
  • One (1) year experience working with persons in recovery (PIR) preferred.
  • Certified Peer Specialists (CPS) will be considered, provided a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification is obtained within six months of hire.
