About This Role
This position will support the development of a hardware-oriented power electronics research program in the Mike Wiegers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The position will contribute to laboratory infrastructure development, experimental research, preparation of externally funded proposals, peer-reviewed publications, and the training of graduate and undergraduate researchers in power electronics design, control, and experimental validation. About Us The Mike Wiegers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, as one of the eight departments within the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering, has 19 faculty members and approximately 500 undergraduate and graduate students. The department is located in the new Engineering Hall equipped with the state-of-the-art research laboratories, classrooms, and office spaces. The department has strong research programs in power systems, power electronics, wireless communications, network engineering, and biomedical engineering.
