This unique role offers the opportunity to support patients across the Emergency Department, Inpatient Unit, and Correctional Medical Unit, providing a diverse and rewarding patient care experience. PCTs receive approximately three weeks of orientation and cross-training to build confidence working in multiple settings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. We are seeking adaptable, experienced patient care professionals with at least six months of direct patient care experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. This PRN Day Shift position works 12-hour shifts in either the Emergency Department (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM) or Inpatient Unit (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM). Provides patient related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation relative to the care delivered.
