Position Summary



The Director of Product Management leads the definition, development, and delivery of Henderson Companies digital products. Reporting to the Sr Digital Innovation Director, this role translates enterprise digital strategy and research insights into actionable product roadmaps, requirements, and measurable business value. This role focuses on product execution, user-centered discovery, and cross-functional delivery while maintaining clear boundaries from enterprise transformation.




Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities



Product Strategy & Roadmap




  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Henderson's internal and external users and overall innovation strategy.
  • Establish clear product objectives and key results tied to business outcomes, efficiency gains, and client value creation.
  • Advocate for user-centric product development grounded in research, testing, and feedback from engineers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish product KPIs and success metrics and track value realization.



Product Management & User Understanding




  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to release, including discovery, definition, design, development, and deployment.
  • Partner with software engineering to translate requirements into technical deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Manage and communicate product backlogs, prioritization, and sprint objectives using agile methods adapted to Henderson's workflow.
  • Lead user interviews, workflow observation, and data analysis to deeply understand user behaviors and needs.
  • Synthesize findings into validated problem statements and actionable requirements.
  • Develop success metrics and performance tracking to evaluate adoption, ROI, and impact.



Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement




  • Serve as the primary liaison between product and internal business units, ensuring strong communication and shared understanding of goals.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and champion new digital workflows that integrate with the firm's engineering operations.
  • Develop adoption strategies for product rollout and ongoing usage.
  • Monitor performance, usage analytics, and ROI to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate progress and product outcomes through executive updates, demonstrations, and training sessions.

  • Build and lead a cross-disciplinary product team to support short and long-term product development.

Required Education, Experience, Licenses & Technical Competencies




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field required, Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in engineering, product management, software development, or digital transformation, ideally within AEC or a related technical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects, products, or platforms from inception to launch.
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks, product lifecycle management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business, technical, and creative disciplines.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in all core competencies as described and characterized in this job description.

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
