PRIMARY DUTIES



  • Record truck weights, material types, quantities, customer info, project numbers, and load destinations
  • Enter and maintain accurate scale tickets using Fisher Sand & Gravel's scale software/system
  • Maintain accurate daily sales records and provide haul reports as requested
  • Balance the daily receipts to ensure accurate recordkeeping and appropriate billing
  • Communicate with truck drivers, customers, dispatchers, and plant personnel regarding loading and hauling operations
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area.
  • Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner towards customers and co-workers
  • Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise
  • Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor



REQUIREMENTS



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license/clear record and reliable transportation required
  • Pre-employment physical required after conditional offer has been made
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate a wide range of scales accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and record information
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Dependable and punctual with ability to maintain consistent attendance
  • Experience in an environment outside the home with computers and various software programs
  • Must be willing to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as needed
  • Ability to work independently and make routine decisions while following company procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations involving weights, quantities, and measurements
  • Precision
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Organized
  • Able to work collaboratively
  • Willing to travel
