Job Description Summary:
The Research Associate is expected to have some experience in clinical research: submitting IRB protocols and consent forms, submitting applications to FDA (e.g. IND), screening subjects for clinical trials, keeping track of subjects' visits and data to be collected, data analysis, manuscript and grant writing. The department of Neurology is committed to spearheading clinical research that will improve the lives of individuals with neurological disorders.

Duties:

  • Support the coordination and day-to-day operations of clinical research studies.
  • Prepare and maintain regulatory submissions and study documentation, including IRB protocols, consent forms, and FDA submissions (e.g., INDs), as applicable.
  • Recruit, screen, enroll, and coordinate study participants and research visits.
  • Collect, manage, and maintain accurate clinical research data and study records.
  • Assist with data analysis and the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, and grant applications.
  • Coordinate educational symposia and other academic events within the Department of Neurology.


Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the department's research mission. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a master's degree and 1 year of experience in a related discipline. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.

Skills in clinical trials, data handling, data analysis, and manuscript and grant writing are a great plus.
Hiring Range $44,985.20 - $66,216.07
