Chaplain Non Certified PRN - Spiritual Care

Summary:

This job is for chaplains that work part-time who would not be exempt associates.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Standards
• Follow the mission of CHRISRUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System in conformity with the Ethical and Religious Directive for Catholic Health Services.
• Provide service periodically as scheduled and as called upon when the need presents itself
• Provide pastoral and spiritual care for patients and staff on a regular basis.
• Train staff on basic spiritual assessment and intervention.
• Follow up spiritual consults made by staff.
• Provide pastoral consultation as part of the multidisciplinary team where patient care is provided.
• Provide pastoral and spiritual care to people in crisis of cardiac or respiratory arrest and death when requested.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor spiritual care volunteers in a volunteer program as directed.
• Provide for worship experiences as directed.
• Represent CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances pastoral care in local churches as requested
• Provide for worship experiences as directed.
• Assist patients and their families with outside clergy visits where requested. Facilitate for clergy their access to their parishioners within appropriate confidentiality policies.
• Complete monthly record of activities and submit it to the department office assistant.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree
