Join a team of excellent providers who deliver care for Pre- and Post-Lung Transplant recipients.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of care to patients within a multidisciplinary framework caring for Pre- and Post-Lung Transplant and cystic fibrosis patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

  • Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures.

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.

  • Recommend treatment and prescribe medication.

  • Consult with physicians (as needed) and make appropriate referrals for evaluation or treatment.

  • Location: University of Minnesota Medical Center and the M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - Minneapolis.

Your Schedule:

  • Full-time, 1.0 FTE

  • 8 or 10 hour days depending on whether working inpatient or outpatient and every 5th weekend. Total of 40 hours per week scheduled.

We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is:

  • A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.

  • Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.

  • Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).

  • Able to meet thresholdcriteria/qualificationsfor credentialing and privileges.

  • Practitioner with broad experience (4+ FTE years), preferably in pulmonology or critical care, with attention to detail and above average patient satisfaction scores.

The full-time salary range is $133,366 - $164,454 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
