Who we are looking for:

The Loss Mitigation Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the loss mitigation document intake, underwriting, closing, and post-closing processes. The individual in this role will manage a team of operations employees and assist with the oversight of offshore operations.




  • Location: Onsite daily in either Houston, TX or Englewood, CO
  • Salary: $70,000 - $80,000



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage the completion of daily loss mitigation responsibilities using a loss mitigation pipeline report.
  • Ensure compliance with all RESPA regulations including, but not limited to, timely application acknowledgments and timely underwriting decisions.
  • Monitor and manage to Internal and Client SLAs.
  • Analyze daily reports to identify potential process gaps or bottlenecks and propose process enhancements or improvements.
  • Oversee the loss mitigation quality control process to produce actionable feedback and improve individual performance.
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1s with direct reports.
  • Stay up to date on investor, client, and product changes and effectively communicate with and train team members.
  • Assist with departmental audits and requests from internal and external sources.



What you'll need to be successful:




  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Loss Mitigation underwriting and operations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience.
  • Experience with Black Knight Director 7 (MSP) and Loss Mitigation Solution (LMS) desired.
  • Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae permanent loss mitigation document requirements.
  • Understanding of Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS) document requirements.
  • Experience working in Fannie Mae - SMDU, Freddie Mac - Resolve, VA - VALERI, and USDA - USDALinc systems preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in Quality Control systems preferred.
  • High level of Integrity/confidentiality while handling secure information in addition to having the ability to work through stressful situations professionally and handle frequent changes.
