The Admin Operations Coordinator will coordinate administrative and building operations support services within an assigned unit. Areas of involvement typically include financial records and reports, budget administration, administrative policies and procedures maintenance and building support services. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit management and staff, vendors/contractors and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit management and staff. Job Duty 1 - Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support for the School of Music, including purchasing and procurement activities, PCard reconciliation, honorarium payments, facility access management, and maintenance coordination. Coordinate room reservations and scheduling for school facilities, including West Village and Couch, while ensuring compliance with established scheduling policies. Manage practice room assignments, locker rentals, and instrument rental programs. Support the planning and execution of special events, conferences, and signature programs, including the annual Guthman Competition. Coordinate travel and lodging arrangements for guests, speakers, and visitors. Serve as the primary point of contact for event catering and student communications, including management of student mailing lists and outreach efforts. Required Qualifications

SKILLS Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of procurement, travel, event scheduling, facilities access, and administrative operations in a higher education environment. Demonstrated skill in processing financial and purchasing transactions, coordinating events and travel logistics, managing schedules and reservations, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, adapt to changing needs, maintain attention to detail, handle confidential information with discretion, and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Proficiency with enterprise systems such as Workday and standard office software is preferred. USG Core Values
