Introduction to the Job

At ASML, your work helps enable technologies that power the world's most advanced electronics. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will design, develop, integrate, and validate complex electrical systems that support the performance and reliability of our lithography solutions.

Based in Wilton, Connecticut, this role gives you the opportunity to solve challenging engineering problems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across product development, manufacturing, and suppliers. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle, from early concept development through product release, sustainment, and customer support.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take technical ownership of complex electrical designs and help guide solutions from concept through implementation. You will influence design decisions, manage technical risks, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure successful product delivery.

  • Lead the design and integration of analog, digital, power distribution, safety, and control systems.
  • Develop electrical architectures, schematics, cable designs, and technical specifications.
  • Drive technical decisions by evaluating requirements, tradeoffs, performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Lead system troubleshooting and root cause investigations from system to component level.
  • Develop validation strategies and oversee testing, verification, and system integration activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing across the organization.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field required.
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, product development, or system integration.
  • Experience with electronic design automation tools and printed circuit board design.
  • Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation, and verification activities.
  • Experience using technical tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, circuit simulation tools, and laboratory test equipment.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment delivering complex technical systems.

Additional Responsibilities: There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$135,200-185,900

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
