About the Role:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to serve as a
trusted legal advisor within a fast-paced, innovative technology company. As
Corporate Counsel, you will manage a broad range of litigation, disputes,
investigations, and employment-related matters while partnering closely with
business leaders across the organization. You will help develop legal
strategies, assess and mitigate risk, provide practical guidance on regulatory
and compliance issues, and support the resolution of complex legal challenges that
impact Yardi's business, products, and clients.

In this highly collaborative role, you will work with
internal stakeholders, outside counsel, Human Resources, Compliance, Sales, and
Operations teams to navigate evolving legal and regulatory requirements, drive
effective dispute resolution, and support sound business decision-making. The
ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can balance legal risk with business
objectives, build strong cross-functional relationships, and contribute to the
continued growth and success of the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage litigation, investigations, regulatory matters, and
    business disputes while supporting the company's overall legal strategy and
    risk management efforts.
  • Partner with senior attorneys, company leaders, and
    cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective strategies for
    resolving legal matters and protecting business interests.
  • Provide practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders on
    complex issues, helping drive informed business decisions and regulatory
    compliance.
  • Oversee and collaborate with outside counsel to ensure
    efficient case management, strategic alignment, and successful dispute
    resolution.
  • Support the Litigation Team across a diverse portfolio of
    matters, balancing legal risk, business objectives, and organizational
    priorities.

Who You Are:

  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one US
    jurisdiction
  • Five years of relevant legal experience, including
    litigation experience in one or more of the
  • following areas: commercial disputes, FCRA or consumer
    reporting, tenant screening, or
  • employment litigation
  • Knowledge of litigation procedures, investigations, dispute
    resolution, and regulatory
  • compliance
  • Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating
    across the Litigation Team
  • Ability to assess complex legal and business issues and
    provide practical, risk-based guidance
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral
    communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
    skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to
    legal and nonlegal stakeholders at all
  • organizational levels
  • Proficiency with standard business applications and legal
    research tools
  • Occasional travel required (approximately 5-15%)

Ideal to Have:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: FCRA or
    consumer reporting; tenant
  • screening; employment law in California, Georgia,
    Massachusetts, New York, or Texas; or
  • international employment matters
  • Knowledge of software development, relational databases,
    cloud computing, and software-as-a service (SaaS) concepts

Annual Salary Range: $180,000 - $224,000
