Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry is a research-focused academic unit that supports collaboration among faculty, staff, and students. The department includes endowed faculty positions and tenured faculty members, some of whom hold fellow status in professional organizations such as AAAS, ACS, and RSC. Faculty and staff participate in research, instruction, and mentoring activities that support student academic and professional development. Departmental work includes laboratory and project coordination, research activity, instructional support, and opportunities for scholarly engagement such as presenting research at professional conferences.

Training undergraduate students on using some lab equipment including potentiostat. Helping undergraduate students with sample collection and purification for seawater electrolysis.

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.50 per hour.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
