A Day in the Life

The Analyst I Trade Execution is responsible for the contract execution of cargo including grain and grain by-products in support of traders and merchandisers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Sending nominations to suppliers and buyers
  • Drafting and preparing documents
  • Negotiating documents with buyers, banks and under letter of credit for international shipments of cargo
  • Daily tracking of vessel positions (loading and discharging schedules)
  • Payment to suppliers including requesting wire transfers
  • Collections from buyers either directly, thru banking channels or via other agreements
  • Laytime calculations
  • Confirming miscellaneous cargo and contract related invoices
  • Communications with many parties related to vessel execution and preparation of standard and ad hoc reports
  • Improve Bunge's outcomes by making data-driven decisions, keeping the customer at the forefront of all they do, and proactively gaining insight into the global strategy.
  • Collaborate, effectively communicate with others and take initiative to continually develop themselves.
  • Pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while maintaining the ability to manage work, even in times of challenge or change.

Skills/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of related work experience
  • Experience in agriculture commodity industry, including knowledge of terms and standards
  • Experience with bank letters of credit preferred.
  • Ability to handle a high level of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
