Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As an Electrical Hardware Development Lead, you will lead an electrical engineering team through the development and design of mission-critical electrical hardware systems, while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will provide technical direction from requirements analysis and architecture development through detailed design, manufacturing, integration, verification, and production support. This role will support programs within the Airborne Systems business area, with opportunities to support other programs and business areas within GDMS. You will collaborate with customers, program leadership, and other engineering disciplines to translate mission needs into executable hardware solutions. You will establish technical priorities, coordinate team activities, manage design risks, and ensure the team delivers compliant hardware within program cost and schedule commitments.
